The Gujarat government has introduced the Viksit Gujarat Industrial Policy 2026 to attract ₹10 lakh crore in investments over the next five years. Seed support has been fixed at up to ₹30 lakh, which can rise to ₹40 lakh for high-impact startups. High-tech, fintech, disruptive and green startups can receive an additional ₹10 lakh.
Startups can also get an extra 1% interest subsidy on term loans. Women entrepreneurs will receive rental assistance covering 75% of rent, up to ₹3 lakh annually for five years.
To develop Gujarat as a global research and development hub, the policy offers a 50% capital subsidy for buildings, machinery and equipment. The assistance can reach ₹50 crore annually for five years. Eligible R&D centres may also receive payroll support of ₹10,000 per employee per month for three years.
The government will support industrial infrastructure, private industrial parks and green industrial estates. Priority projects can receive assistance covering 80% of eligible costs, up to ₹40 crore.
